Illustration

Having worked as an illustrator and graphic designer for several years between undergraduate and graduate school, I brought that experience to courses I taught, initially in the Radcliffe Seminars Landscape Design Program, then in the Illustration program at Winthrop University. In each case, I taught projects relevant to diverse fields of illustration that encouraged individuality, creative problem solving, and imagination, integrated with the development of technical skills using diverse media and application of conceptual knowledge, such as linear perspective and human/animal anatomy.
