Seymour Simmons, Biography page 1

Seymour Simmons III, Ed.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Design at Winthrop and teaches both art education and studio art courses. He has a B.F.A. in Printmaking from Colorado State University, as well as Masters and Doctorate degrees in Education from Harvard University where his degree was in Philosophy of Education.

Prior to coming to Winthrop, he taught at Massachusetts College of Art and worked as a researcher at Harvard ProjectZero with Dr. Howard Gardner.
